Progression of an athlete...

This is one of my athletes, Ben. He struggled with his weight, due to his inconsistencies in training. Once he got a slot for Kona, he got serious. He went 12:56:00 on a very challenging day! Below is a photo of his weight loss progression, which he shared with me. I am really proud of all he's done, and hope to see it continue.

Free Swim Lecture coming up...

Learning and Understanding the 3 Most Important Technical Aspects of Swimming by Jim Vance.

The talk will include underwater videos and pictures to help explain the principles, and even some dry-land drills! Bring a notebook and come with your questions!

It will be held on November 3, 2008 @ 6:30 pm at B + L Bikes and Sports at 3603 Camino del Rio West, San Diego, CA 92110.

There will be food and beverages....about 25 chairs, so if you're not there early, bring a chair!
